What is mintted?

Mintted is a platform that allows creators to launch their own social tokens which they can use to create communities where access is restricted based on either economic or behavioral means.

It is not designed as a replacement for existing social media platforms, but as a tool you can use to promote further enthusiasm or engagement from fans, as well as offer them a way to share in your success.

What are social tokens?

Social tokens are a form of utility token that act as a currency for a creator's community, allowing fans to participate in their favorite creators success as well as exchange them for goods and services from the creator.

Who is mintted for?

Any creator, artist, influencer, sports player or person with a community who wishes to be fairly compensated for their work, know their most die-hard fans and have a way to reward their curated community exclusive access and benefits.

What can creators do with their social tokens?

Our creators are offering zoom calls, one on one meetups, discounts on shows, pre-sales, merch, coaching sessions, just to name a few things!

How can the social tokens be used?

After acquiring their tokens, fans can access a creator's community chat, vote in polls and receive exclusive benefits via email. Fans then will be able to sell, buy more or hold them for as long as they wish.

What are fan tiers?

Creator token holders (fans) will be divided into different tiers based on the number of tokens they hold, which reflects their engagement and commitment.

Each group has a different status that will grant them access to special features inside your community. Creators get to decide what rewards each tier gets, and how many tokens go into each tier.

Do creators have to create special content for the platform?

No. Any creator is free to interact with their mintted community as much as they want. It's important to note that the level of interaction inside their Community is tied to the level of Community growth. We give freedom to Creators and Fans to engage on their terms and their timelines.

How is the token price calculated?

Token prices are calculated using a pricing curve, tailored to each Community, and that is determined by the relationship between supply and demand. For more info, ask us on Discord and we’ll be happy to explain!

How does a creator know how many tokens to mint?

We will help Creators set the total token supply (TTS) during the onboarding process.

Can creators gift or giveaway tokens?

Yes they can. We recommend gifting tokens to most committed fans and followers, to kickstart their mintted community!

What can creators offer with their social tokens?

How do sell orders work?

When fans place a sell order, they are given a clearing price that the tokens will be put up for sale. In order for those tokens to be sold, the order needs to be matched with a buyer. Until that happens the tokens will not be sold.

Are there transaction fees associated with selling?

Yes, there is 2.5% fee for each sale.

When can fans withdraw their funds?

They will be able to withdraw funds from sales 90 days after they purchased those tokens sold.
